Building Automation Projects

Building automation is the interdisciplinary science that deals with the study of technologies to improve the quality of life at home and more generally in the anthropic environments. This highly interdisciplinary area requires the contribution of many technologies and expertise, including construction engineering, automation, electrical engineering, electronics, telecommunications and computer science.
In the area of Building Automation Power Engineering works finding tools and strategies to:
improve the quality of life;
improve safety;
simplify the design, installation, maintenance and use of technology, especially renewable energy;
reduce management costs;
convert old environments and older plants.
The automation plays an important role in making intelligent equipment, facilities and systems. For example, a smart electrical system can self-power appliances not to exceed the threshold that would trigger the counter.
With "smart home" refers to a home environment - appropriately designed and technologically equipped - which provides the user with facilities that go beyond the "traditional", where equipment and systems are able to perform functions partially autonomous (according to reactions environmental parameters fixed and predetermined nature) or user-programmed or, more recently, completely autonomous (as reactions to environmental parameters directly from dynamic programs that you create or improve self-learning).
