Hello there!I'm happy to be the first in this forum. I'm working on a little project involving a hardware platform very similar to SmartPLC and I'm wondering if I can get more information about it.More in detail, I've red SmartPLC has an open air range of about 1km and is able to cover the distance of up to 200mt inside buildings thanks to the lowest frequency used.May I know the kind of interface you used and the details of the modulation (i.e. frequency deviation, channel spacing and so on)?How do you managed collisions? Thanks in advance.Alex.

Hello Alex!Sure I remember about you and thanks for inaugurate my forum!I've used a CC1200 manufactured by Texas, see here .The modulation is GFSK with 24kHz channel spacing. The protocol is native LBT in other words the microcontroller listen on the line before sending any data so to avoid collisions. The range I've tested is over 1km in open air, inside concrete building it's possible to reach up to 150-200mt depending on the antenna placement and surrounding. If you need more information let me know, hope you like my forum, it's a way to share the product with potential customers and obtain suggestions to improve it./Maurizio
